What is Black Forest Cat Café?
Black Forest Cat Café is committed to reducing the number of cats living in Fort Wayne’s shelter system by finding them forever homes. In this effort, they partner with local shelters to provide cats with temporary lodging at the café, where patrons can meet them adopt them in a fun environment. In the past two years alone they’ve gotten over 500 cats to their new families! We’re so happy to host our engagement party with them to be able to enjoy both their food/drinks but also be able to play with the adoptable cats!
Cat Lounge Waiver
In order to enter the cat lounge and play with the adoptable cats, the café requires a waiver be signed accepting responsibility for any injuries that might occur if any of the cats are feeling particularly violent. You can either fill out the waiver before the event by scanning the QR code on your invitation, or do it day-of on a kiosk at the café.
Supporting Black Forest
Your presence at our celebration is the best gift we could possibly ask for. If you feel inclined to commemorate this special occasion, we’d kindly request you consider helping Black Forest in their efforts to improve the lives of cats in our community. Directions:Black Forest Cat Café is located in the JoAnn Plaza on Coldwater road just north of Coliseum Boulevard. If you’re driving from further away, we would recommend taking I-69 to exit 312 (Coldwater south) then turning left into the JoAnn Plaza as at the light by Aldi. Address:
